Don’t know if Freeman saw the German version of “No Reservations”, titled “Mostly Martha”. It was a charming film, and the Paolo Conte music sent me to iTunes!
I’ll buy the newer DVD and see it because I find reviewers are frequently wrong, in my opinion, about films, and I like to compare different versions of the same story (e.g., “The Italian Job”, “The Thomas Crown Affair” etc.)
I especially liked Aaron Eckhart in “Possession”, but am biased because the book is one of the best I’ve ever read and the ending teaches a great lesson about the accuracy of history as seen by historians. Book group agreed.
