I’ll tell a true sign that there’s more support for McCain than the polls let on…
My neighbor came over and asked my elderly father, who lives with me, if we would like a McCain sign to put up in our yard and asked if I would mind.
My father said yes, he could, and that he knew I support McCain.
This tells me that the support is sure enough and aggressive enough that they won’t be bullied by what they polls supposedly show.
It also tells me that, for every bold-as-brass conservative like my neighbor, there are probably ten who feel the same way but don’t say anything because politics can drive customers away or jeopardize their raise, etc.
The support is there and I think the amount of polls, news stories, and vitriol that the leftist media spew at us every day are in direct proportion to the amount of support for McCain that they truly know is out there.
It’s the full court press now because they know what the unskewed number would look like. They’re a cornered animal and we have the pointed stick.
