“Noga, Siohban and like minded Brits:

Apologies if my last post sounds too much like Brit-bashing…

Its a shock when representatives of a friendly and civilized European nation famous for good manners forget they’re guests and behave like hostile interlopers from one or another pestilent Arabian backwater.”

Wow,its pretty clear where your coming from. Why don’t you just throw in some racial slurs while your at it. A few “Towlheads” cracks would just about be the cherry on top wouldn’t it. Unlike you ,I love America. You of course say you do as well, but you dont. Your more like the guy who follows his ex-girlfriend home and leaves her bloody and beaten in an alley. Your dont love America, your just obsessing over it. If you loved America, you would understand that everyones entitled to their opinions here. You would understand that the diversity of opinion in American politics is what makes the country strong. You would understand that the freedom to speak your mind is what makes America a great place to live. You would listen to these British who are very angry with the direction of the US (like most europeans are) and take note. You would understand that its probobally a good idea to understand how strongly they feel about these issues, even if you dont agree.
Before you start attacking me for being unamerican, for siding with people who hate America, think for a second. (and consider for a fact that they dont hate America, they are very worried about what we are doing, its a very different thing)Im not suggesting that they are correct in their opinions. Although in some cases I do have to agree,we are on the wrong track) Im suggesting that it is very important to understand how they feel. How can we make decisions if we dont know all the facts. (and in a democracy,we the people, should be making informed decisions) Should we invade Iran to stop them from getting nuclear weapons? Perhaps. Its on the table. The reactions of our allies of course have to be taken into consideration. Perhaps the down side would be too great. Perhaps instead it might be a better idea to give the Israelis the satellite imagery and let them bomb the targets so we can pretend we had nothing to do with it.(its not like the Arabs could hate them anymore anyway) Sometimes there is more than one way to get what you want. The trick is to find what works best. (And is best for America)
