Noted over the weekend is a conundrum. Why are leftists such as Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening and the crew at SNL suddenly telling the truth about the current economic mess? Only one answer.
Change.
To legitimize Obama and his campaign you must make it appear that he’s different from politics as usual. So throw Pelosi and Frank and Reid under the bus. It gives Obama street cred as an agent of change. He’s not like the rest and he can’t support the policies of the Demoncratic past. So if Frank and Emmanuel and Rubin were feeding at the trough, then sacrifice them. Belittle them, in skits on SNL and denounce their support for fat cats in the financial sector.
It makes Obama more like the Saviour…
