Twit. A thin place. English term referencing the lack of material between one’s ears. Why would you think that Gov. Palin qualifies for that term? Because she’s not conversant in foreign affairs or complex national issues? That doesn’t her stupid, or even mentally incurious.
It’s just that in her world, other things have had to take priority. She is skilled at sports. She has learned to hunt and fish. She can pilot a boat and a plane. She has run a business and has property investments. She has run a city. She runs one of our most important States. She has a solid track record of success, unlike Sen. Obama, who can point to exactly zero achievements.
She has solid understanding of energy policy, more than most politicians in this country. This is THE issue. It’s what’s behind the international mess. It’s what’s going to get us out of our economic mess. It is, simply, the future. Get rid of the need for Mideast oil, and so many problems just go away, for us and for Europe.
Many don’t realize this, as the Media seize on her weakness, and refuse to highlight her strengths. Conversely, they whitewash Sen. Obama’s many shortcomings. She’s an existential threat to the Liberal movement. If a clearer picture ever got out of her, her mere existence would unmask their false premises.
