The entire civil service and federal (as well as state and local) bureaucracy will have to be scrubbed top to bottom. One of Bush’s greatest faults is that he allowed so many hold-overs from the Clinton regime to remain, in the name of “new tone,” that these political appointees festered in their places for whole careers. New tone, my back side! I want to see a political bloodbath and thorough cleaning out of these vermin upon Obama’s loss next year.
