“McCain made the choice to put winning an election before this country.”
Something that Barack Obama does on a regular basis. But, I think if McCain was really all about winning at all costs, he wouldn’t have chosen Sarah Palin. He would have picked someone a bit more moderate, maybe even pro-choice, to get more independent and swing voters, and women. But, he didn’t. Choosing Sarah Palin was a big risk. Plus, I’m a Democrat, and I’m not very happy with the choice of Joe Biden, who I think is a fool.
As for feminists’ reaction to Palin, it’s certainly made me think differently about many women that I used to admire. They’re hypocrites, all of them, and I won’t ever support any of these groups again. Since when does being pro-life mean you’re anti-woman? Even though I am a Dem, my views are closer to Palin’s than the other three candidates. And, (oh, my God!), I graduated from a state school, too (and after attending two other schools). Gee, how do regular people like us survive without “leadership” from the elite school graduates, like Barack Obama?
