It fits into the whole Democrat playbook. Anyone that professes something that they do not agree with (truthful or not) is subject to some form of the shoutdown. Interrupt speeches, war on the blogs, character asassination – whatever it takes to try to silence someone with an opposing view. They are not interested in debate only in defaming an opponent.
From the party that says they care more about people’s rights, it seems a funny way of doing business. I would be shocked to learn that the Obamabots involved were anything other than young college kids – tech savvy and not willing to listen an opposing view. I know, I have one of those – 20 years old and tunes you out or quits whenever the conversation is not to his liking.
Another interesting corollary to this is that while young liberal adults hold these strong views, they see their vote as not mattering. A surprising percentage do not vote because they really don’t want to be bothered in getting away from their social networking site or a video game. They see that just being registered to vote is good enough. Young conservative adults are extremely well represented in stats of actual voters.
Stifling dissent to their views is what the liberal wing of the Dem party is all about.
