You can’t have an honest discussion about who is at fault without discussing the CRA, “Community Reinvestment Act”. Any news outlet that doesn’t mention this is grossly corrupt. I can see a picture of Uncle Sam lifting up a rock to see cowarding democrats hiding under the rock named “Blame Bush” when the actual cause of the entire mess is actually over regulation. Banks were in fact forced to carry these risky loans. Bush, in fact, tried 8 times to reign in Fannie and Freddie with one party, the democratic party, solely responsible for blocking any further regulation. They are perfectly happy with this situation because CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, The New York Times, and the like more than willing to falsely place the blame on the man that tried everythin possible to prevent the situation. In fact Bush warned, as well as a hord of other republicans including McCain, that this exact situation would happen.
But don’t take my word for it……by all means do your own research…start with a google search of the Community Reinvestment Act.
