The House Judiciary Committee is launching a probe into Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan’s prior involvement with healthcare reform legislation that could determine she must recuse herself from future high court deliberations on Obamacare.
The Judiciary Committee investigation follows up on a letter sent by 49 members of the House to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, R-Texas, and ranking Democrat John Conyers of Michigan on June 24.
Chairman Smith sent a letter on Wednesday to Attorney General Eric Holder:
The funniest part of this probe is the fact that the request is being sent to the biggest Richard Cranium in the Justice Department – E. Himpton Holder!
I am sure the Attorney General would love to have a few more road blocks set up to protect him from having to spend to much time thinking about the dead border agents and the hundreds of murdered Mexicans – all victims of his negligence and inability to handle his duties!
