I understand your concerns, yet I put little faith in polls. According to polls Harry was in for a through trouncing. According to polls right before election day Kerry was a shoe in. According to exit polls Kerry won. Polls mean little right now. This scandal is huge. It will not go away. Eventually it will unwind on CSPAN. Semen stains on a dress can be excused by human frailty. 150 (and counting) bleeding into the dust can not be excused and a majority, however slim, will be outraged.
