The Upcoming Rachel Corrie Trial: Go After Her Real Killers
Slow down cowboy. Either side that believes the truth to be obvious is acting in abrupt ignorance. The relationship between jews and arabs is as old as religion itself. As for rachel, her heart was no doubt filled with a passion for justice and peace. whether or not that passion was misguided or “wrong” is beyond our capabilities of understanding. That being said, Rachel was “actively” taking a side in a designated war zone. Throughout the course of human history the consequences of doing so, often ends in death. I am not saying her death was deserved by any means. I am saying that the situation between Israel and Palestine is not as simple as either side makes it out to be and that facts are twisted and manipulated to further each sides agenda. If one choses a side, then expresses blind rage toward the other side, he or she is only progressing the hatred that already exists and backtracking any progress that has been made.
