Many moons ago I lived and worked in Chicago for 4 years. I gave up trying to live and prosper in Chicago and left. The level of corruption is beyond comprehension to anyone who has not lived there. I’m sure many members of CPD are trying to do their job in a responsible manner; but as Dunphy notes members of the upper echelon are politicians more than they are police officers and thus they pander, pander, pander.
