I can understand the campaign’s unwillingness to unleash the hounds of Hell – otherwise known as the media – in Palin.
The whole hissy fit over not being allowed to have print reporters present during her “meet & greet ” with foreign dignitaries was just that they were denied an opportunity to trip her up in public. How dare the capmaign not cooperate with setting her up to fail in front of those people she might meet again as VP?
I wish the campaign would just accept that her “foreign policy” experience is currently lacking and stress her positive attributes. When did a VP become the sole American foreign policy point man? The media seems happy to ignore that Obama – who is running on the top of the Dem ticket- has very think credentials in that field.
IMO the campaign should start putting her out in venues that haven’t been at the front of the rabid dog pack. But I would neny NBC.MSNBC NYT and groups like them access forever.
