Robert Hurley: Victor Davis hansen had what seems to me to be the perfect answer: how is it a half-term Governor is unqualified to be Vice President, but a half-term Senator is qualified to be President?

Dennis: I really wish these politicians wouldn’t distort the facts like this.

Me too. While I’m wishing, I want a pony.

David: “Still, it’s possible to explain this without assuming there is some central controller — a Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy — passing them around.”

Nope, not in this case.

Sorry, David, but you’re wrong. For example, it could be that these rumors are being generated ad ho by a collection of people who would like to see Obama win, and then propagated via the hoardes of people who read Daily Kos, MyDD, Democratic Underground, and the HuffPo. However, Rusty Shackleford’s work, and the existence of the email list he and others discovered, makes me more suspicious that that there is a VLWC involved.

Tomw: Don’t trust only Factcheck.org. The NRA ad response, for example, in badly flawed.
