the mere existence of the 2nd amendment is a hurdle that all previous totalitarian elements have never had to overcome
just the idea of an armed citizenry stymies the full throttled assault against liberty
there is a fundamental reason why the 2nd amendment is “second” and not 8 or 9 or 10– the right to bear arms is the statist repellant for the citizenry
