What’s the ‘distraction’? That these foul-mouthed, hate-filled people are ranting like raving demented maniacs? Or that other people are pointing out these people as such?

On the other hand, I suspect this is a prime example of the type of people we are dealing with. And that as long as they are behaving in such a deplorable manner, they cannot be rational. All they can do is be hateful.

And THAT is an important part of these discussions, recognizing their dementia for what it is. Commenting on it as evidence that they are, for all intents and purposes ‘insane’.
