Trouble for me wrt Romney – it all sounds like sloganeering. Most of it anyway. On a few issues he sounds authentic and experienced, e.g., budget cutting…. but the rest are just words written for him so people can hear what they want to hear.
Did anyone catch his statement about the US vis-à-vis China and India. Something about the US remaining superior to those two countries forever . There is a real problem to the tenor in those type of statements, and even more so the thought behind them. As an American, the value of the economic health of this country is important to me, but that does not mean I have to feel I am always at the top of the pecking order.
Not on the whole an interview that makes me want to vote for him.
