Mitt Romney: Supporting the Surge and Committed to Victory

I must admit that was the first time I got to hear what Mitt Romney was all about and I liked what I heard.

The democrats are a party of skeptics, doubters, fear mongers, and conspiracy theorists. They are the ones who use fear to scare people into doing what they want. Lying cheating stealing is ok. The end truly justifies the means.

They are eternal pessimists and see the glass as half empty instead of half full. They are the ones who when the going gets tough they want to quit. They are weak. What happened to the FDR’s and the JFK’s of the Democratic Party?

It’s funny when you consider how they operate. They run around throwing out words like honesty, integrity, leadership, etc. like they are just bumper stickers. We support our troops but we don’t support their mission and The Great General Petraeus is “out of touch with reality (despite the fact they approved his appointment earlier this year 81-0).”

A few years back I had a guy as a business partner for a short period of time who was always telling everyone how “honest” he was and how much “integrity” he operated with. This guy devastated my business financially and then bolted when there was no more money to take or things to destroy.

We had moved into a new office space with a five year lease ($600,000 over five years in rent) and leased $50,000 worth of new computers and office furniture on a Friday. On the following Monday he told me he was “outta here” because he needed to make some money and this was not a good situation for him. WTF???????

This was a lovely situation for me. I had let my top producing agents leave to start their own company to make room for him as a partner instead of the guys who had stuck with me for several years. He was so delusional that he actually said to me before he walked out the door that he “helped me save my company.”

Who was he fucking kidding? I later found out the $50,000 lease for the equipment had a personal guarantee that he forged my signature to when I was in Europe with my girlfriend. When I got back after three weeks we had lost half of our new recruits and all our momentum. He said he did not know what happened but that everything just “fell apart” while I was away. Well, I knew what had happened. He happened. People would not follow him.

It left me with one hell of a mess that took over three years to clean up.

So when I hear someone tell me how “honest” they are, I think the opposite. It’s like the person who farts then says “who farted?” What happens when someone says to you “hey I’m a Christian?” If you are like most people the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and say watch out! It’s like they think that one word “Christian” makes up for all their shortcomings and deviousness.

I see the democrats yelling foul all the time at President Bush. Well, what’s their record so far?

They are not all a lowly bunch of cowards that are dishonest and corrupt. I like Joe Lieberman. Here is a guy who supports the war and his party does not nominate him for the Senate. So he runs as an independent and kicks the ass of the candidate that replaced him on the democratic ticket.

In 2004 Lieberman again went for democratic Presidential nominee and his former running mate from 2000 Al Gore puts his support behind Howard Dean who later plummets right off the ticket. Thanks for showing you have no integrity or loyalty Al Gore. The guy is totally plastic. “I am glad I have such great friends” he must have thought.

The man gets kicked in the balls numerous times by his supposed friends and party and yet he still says he is democrat. Again the man shows he has more class than the whole Democratic Party combined does.

I would vote for Senator Lieberman as a future Republican candidate

That man has integrity. So does Senator McCain. When we win this war he could skyrocket back to the top again and still take the nomination for Republican Presidential candidate.

Anything can happen. Rudy could win and so could Senator Thompson. We will just have to see how their campaigns go.

I like Obama but he is too inexperienced and does not have a high enough level of consciousness that would enable him to make the tough decisions. He is not strong enough to run for what he really believes in. He has become too political. Obama girl is the best thing his campaign’s got going in my opinion.

Hillary just is so in-authentic that I would not trust anything that came out of her mouth. Her and Bill have no integrity. I know two people that have personally known former President Clinton and one of them was his success coach. The other knew him when he was still Governor. They both had a very low opinion of him. Bill has a life time history of fucking around with other women. He just got caught with Monica Lewinski.

I doubt anything has changed with that. Except maybe a little Viagra.

If Lieberman sticks around on their ticket I believe there is hope for their party. If not maybe they will end up in the dust bin of history along with the mainstream media.

I personally have a low tolerance for people who don’t say what they mean and mean what they say. It literally has cost me millions to learn that lesson the hard way. That includes politicians who stand for what ever they think the public opinion polls indicate they need to stand for to win. What ever happened to principle centered leadership or standing up for what you believe in?

Now President Bush and his staff have made some unbelievable blunders in Iraq. Lives have been lost because of it no doubt. But I truly believe they did the best they could with where they were at and with what they had to work with.

This has been the hardest and most difficult war we have ever fought. Our military has had to improvise, adapt, overcome, and compensate on a level never seen before.

But you’ve got to admire Bush’s resolve and passion for what he believes in. I voted for him twice and have had times where I questioned his leadership. But the reason I still respect, admire, and support him is because he stands for what he believes in despite any public opinion polls. I will take a president like that any day over some rubber politician that will say anything to get votes.

Here is a quote I really love from a copywriter I once employed. He was one of the greatest copywriters who ever lived. He passed away only a few months ago. His name was Gary Halbert:

“Nothing is impossible for a person who refuses to listen to reason!” Gary Halbert

After 7 years it’s finally paying off. I believe that in 10-15 years people in Iraq will love him like the people in Albania do.

Its time the rest of America gets behind our President so we can win this war together. Most importantly our Soldiers believe in him and if they believe in our leader and their mission, well then so should we.
