The people I know who have heard of Duncan Hunter, like him. He’s simply in a bad spot with name recognition. He should consider endorsing Fred Thompson and vying for a VP spot. Hunter is a young enough guy to spend 8 years getting known nationally as the VP, or some other cabinet post (Homeland Security?) and would be a very strong candidate after that.
