Enjoyed this piece, Neo-Neo Con and love the bravery you display in your political right turn.
However… “IF” by Rudyard Kipling, is in fact a great poem. The fact that it seems now cliche is
tribute to its staying power and its truth. Perhaps Lefties prefer more nuanced stuff (e.e. cummings
comes to mind) but I am not ashamed to prefer poems that rhyme and are readily understood.
We can all agree, I think, that Obama et al are in trouble by simply watching the apoplexy on the
part of the MSM and Lefty pundits. The long promised removal of the evil Republicans to which
they believe they are entitled has been threatened, perhaps postponed, perhaps cancelled altogether.
How tragic, how sad, how Delicious!
