I watched the footage from 9/11 that the history channel was airing. It filled me with contempt, and resolve. This is not an important election, it will be the most important election of my life. We cannot stop our progress against these blood-thirsty religious fascists. It wasn’t just two buildings falling, it was massive destruction to the entire island of Manhattan. It was an attempt to take out the headquarters of our defensive brain-trust. McCain really is right in saying, “I’d rather lose an election, than lose a war.” We simply can’t let Obama win. Scenes from 9/11 should be shown as a reminder of what a democratic presidency can do. This is a war, or at least what Bush said, “a new kind of war with no borders or massive armies.”
