Maybe the right-on progressive press is really right in not having to prove this point in any cogent, rational way because it is something that simply transcends simple, trivial facts and figures. The silly accusations of lack of experience, lack of depth, lack of substance, supposedly corrupted, or extremist, or fascist friends and associates, un-American beliefs and attitudes, weakness of character, judgement, and integrity, or the most absurd one of all – that Obama has used race and so-called “white liberal guilt” to achieve the fantastic heights he now heroically scales upon – all these are defense mechanisms and facades to hide the ugly monster of your racist attitudes. Every white American is a racist, even the liberal ones. So what if it seems a contrived, unproven, irrational accusation? It doesn’t need to be proven. You don’t even have to think about it. In your hearts you know it’s true. Everyone who says it is not true is only proving more so that it is. Let your evil, ugly, racist, hating heart be your guide. Vote for Obama.
