Even if I had lifted the sedd thought from the comment you reference, with regards to borrowing another’s analogy. I am not sure of the precise literary etiquette anyway. With the flow of stuff that I read, and especially with my swiss cheese brain, sometimes it is hard to trace back an idea to its original source. That being said, as I was researching the idea (to make sure it hadn’t been developed previously,) I did find an very good Aussie blogger briefly making the analogy in passing, as well as, I believe, our own Roger Simon. Brilliant minds…how does it go?
