We came within an inch of homeschooling this year and I’d like to hear from others who decided to do this with a high school student. We don’t like the goals of the school system, which seems to embrace mediocrity. On the other hand, we have a teen who recoils in horror at the thought of being home and away from his friends, stuck with Mom and/or Dad all day. We’ve looked into group home schools but there are none in our area so it’d be a one on one situation. I’d love to hear from others who’ve made it work – and how – for teens.
