What you state is false “This man has essentially given up his career as a Shin Bet field agent in order to defend Joseph from being deported back to Israel”. Gonen Ben Itzhak, Mosab’s handler was fired from the Shin Bet for financial mismanagement and for lying. Please refer to his own confession and what was discovered by Haaretz (Fri, 13, 2011). In fact MK Gideon Ezra and former deputy of the Shin Bet considers Mosab’s account as an “exaggeration” and his handler was kicked out by the Shin Bet coordinator.
