Karen, when you’ve done all these wonderful things Mosab has done you will not regard yourself highly, you will but say: Lord i have done nothing special, i have only done that which i should have done.
This sounds irrational and unfair in human perspective where Mosab lost (temporarily? Maybe forever?) his family! But it is true. Having given large sacrifices to steer your path on that which the lord shows you doesn’t mean you’ve done extraodinary things. Now we in our human nature can honour men for their patience and perseverance and the many things they give up for rightiousness sake. I believe god in his fatherly love does so too… But back with our feet on the ground, this does not excuse any wrongdoings. Nor does this exalt you to any spot where your judgement is regarded higher then than of our god.
And truthfully what Walid stated about the things Mosab told are true.. Mosab called israel “the enemy” and “it’s occupation has to end”. There is no excuse for this. You should know that. If you don’t then i advise you to read some of the bible. No matter what page you open. It’s all about israel. Jesus is the king of the jews. And “we” (as i could hardly know if your a jew or gentile, but i am a gentile), can share in the same blessings god gave to his covenant people. One of the greatest blessings poured out ever on a person and HIS SEED!!!! is that whoever curses him will be cursed and whoever blesses him…. Will be blessed. Now if you don’t think this blessig belongs to israel as a nation and people, then obviously you are mistaken. God calls himself “the God of israel” hundreds of times in the bible. What does that mean???? Isn’t he the god of jesus????? The god of the christian faith?? Well romans 11 tells us VERY CLEARLY that “we” have been grafted INTO the blessings of israel.
IF THE ROOT ISN’T HOLY THE BRANCH IS NOT HOLY EITHER!
So Mosab as BRANCH is despising the ROOT… What is he grafted into then?? What kind of jesus does he believe in?? Because as Walid states in his article in the middle east there is a branch of false christianity where jesus somehow is a palestinian freedom fighter who came to exterminate all the jews…. INRI??? Isus Nazarenus Rexus Iudeorum -> Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews.. That means that jesus is “KING NOTHING”!
I wouldn’t even consider calling that “branch” of christianity disciples of christ.. They are disciples of the teachings of men. How can they have the holy spirit if they are truly actively seeking to destroy gods children? Jesus told that anyone would recognise his disciples because they have love towards eachother. Don’t act as if Walid has no love because he is openly discussing Mosabs motives. Because he has seen the things he has reported and uncovered to the world. Come on now…..
