As a follow-up: Now we have seen the real McCain breakthrough into the undecideds in Gallup Daily. Apparently Palin was the right choice and McCain hit the right notes in his speech. Next question: where do the new undecided voters live? If they live in Texas or Utah, they are not going to do him that much good. If they live in Ohio and Virginia, then we have a real contest.
