20.Mark says – Fairtax is a farce — literally, a farce. Fair (Tax) depends on the absurdity of the FEDERAL government PAYING ITSELF… Utter nonsense, complete and utter nonsense. Don’t believe me that Fairtax depends on the government paying itself a large portion OF ITS OWN TAXES?? No, the federal government CAN NOT pay itself … When the government writes itself a check for those taxes, it has to PAY the check. You can’t possibly count it as income.

Okay Mark, so the two MILLION federal employees that get paid every two weeks have their their taxes withheld by their employer (the government) and paid to THE GOVERNMENT.
Yet Mark says that the federal government CAN NOT pay itself.
Why is that such a difficult concept for “Mark” to understand?
