To #95 – Norwegian:

There were no “native Palestinians” per se. There were Jews, Christians, Moslems, Greeks, Arabian arabs, Armenians, etc. who lived in the Turkish Ottoman Empire region known as “Palestine”, a former province for many centuries, of the Roman Empire. Before that, there was a Jewish kingdom of Israel and Judea.

There never has been a state of “Palestine” and the term was sparsely used until Arafat and Nasser began to create on artificial entity represented by the Egyptian-created “PLO”. The so-called “Palestinians” who live in Jordan were those living in British-controlled “Transjordan” which was later made into the Hashmenite Kingdon of Jordan, which never existed before in history.

Saudia Arabia wasn’t a nation until the early 20th Century. Yemen had a far longer history and claim to the area than the House of Saud (former nomads).

And what do you call those people who did not leave Israel in 1948? They are called Israelis – Period. They can claim to be Palestinian-Israelis, or Moslem-Israelis, Christian Israelis, etc, but their citizenship is Israeli, the land is Israel, and it is open to all faiths and ethnic people. Try to say that about the Hamas/PLA “Palestine”, or Saudi Arabia, or Lebanon.

Slitting the throat of a 3-month old little girl defines who the “Palestinians” are, Mr. Norwegian. Is this who you are defending?
