For the past twelve years I have lived in the inner city in a neighborhood that until recently many suburbanites were afraid to travel to, much less think of living. I know exactly what community organizers do and know several by name, more by reputation. I have a deep suspicion, born of experience, of folks who “organize” a community for money rather than as a volunteer.
I think Sarah Palin was right on the money.
