Oh puh-leez! It is obvious the Dem talking points are to call the speech “snide”… Your candidate took a beating last night by a cool, intelligent woman.
Did anyone call Ann Richards’ “snide” when she delivered her infamous line at the Dem convention re: Bush I : “Poor George, he can’t help it, he was born with a silver foot in his mouth!”
Nope. Why? Because that is political rhetoric! The GOP expects it! And it was funny! The Dems have no sense of humor anymore and are too busy drumming up sob stories about our “mean” country. Palin nailed it with skewering things like Uhbama’s movie set being taken back to Hollywood. The presidency not being a journey of self-discovery (ala Oprah & memoir writing) Great stuff!
Guiliani was having a field day – laughing even – using Hillary’s own criticism of Uhbama – re: hiring someone for a job & qualifications against him saying “Hillary can be right – once!’
The Dems are going down (again) whining and bitching and moaning. No spark of life and humor and spirit.
