To promote progress with Iran on their nuclear weapons program, our President has been tactfully and diplomatically silent about the stolen election, the arrest, beatings, and murder of Iranian democrats, the threats against Israel’s very existence, and the other human rights atrocities that are Ahmadinejad’s daily bread. We remain silent in order to avoid giving Mr. A reason to turn against us.

And how is that working so far, you ask?

Here is today's AP story:
“Ahmadinejad: Iran “Will Never Negotiate Over Nuclear Rights”

So here we are again. A power-mad leader of a powerful country with a chip on its shoulder and an ideology that blames Jews for all the world’s problems, is preparing a “final solution.” 6 million Jews sit in the crosshairs. And the world, including our own country, is doing NOTHING!

Since Hitler’s Holocaust, the Western world has piously intoned the mantra “Never Again”. But it is now clear that it was only a feel-good slogan.

If we let this new Holocaust happen, then truly “We are weighed in the balance, and found wanting.”

Luke, if you conclude that all the reporting on Iraq communicates all that was, and is, going on, then I have this bit of advice for you: quit being so dependant on the gatekeepers.

What would have prevented Saddam Hussein (I still love the moniker of "Sadly Insane" from the first gulf war) from sending his WMD's to Syria?

Iran's nuclear weapons and other WMD are as ficticious as those that led the US along with its lackeys to bomb and invade Iraq.

If they were real, the US, and its lackey Israel, would have long destroyed them.

Claudia, I have arrived at the conclusion that it isn't just the world under the thumb of the "Sons of Allah" which refuses to learn the best of the west.

When property rights for everyone is protected at all times, we see the best of the west. Whether it is South America, or the Muslim world, or Africa, we see, at best, the property rights of some protected some of the time.

Therefore, why not take FDR's proposal for preparatory regimes on a multilateral basis?

That way, all of Africa would be under a preparatory regime, because they are not making the most of their time. The same goes
from Kazakhstan in the north to the southern portion of the Arabian peninsula, to Pakistan in the east and Syria in the west.

Plus, the part of Asia from Bangladesh in the North West to Indonesia in the South East, to what was Indochina in the North East.

For it is easier to teach the ropes, by those who know what the score is, than be flung into the deep end.

FYI, the best description of preparatory regimes is found, as far as I have come across, is "Lost Crusade: America in Vietnam"
by Chester L. Cooper. Just look at the pages
dealing with FDR.
