UN Climocrat Deserts the Sinking UNFCCC
Not that de Boer is recanting any of his own cant. In announcing his resignation, he tried to slide around the mush of the UN’s Copenhagen climate summit last December. He made no mention of such climategate revelations as the leaked East Anglia emails or the recent BBC interview in which one of the pillars of UN climate “science,” Phil Jones, admitted that for the past 15 years he has found no statistically signficant evidence of global warming (not that Jones seems able to keep track of his own data).
Instead, de Boer told the press: “I have always maintained that while governments provide the necessary policy framework, the real solutions must come from business.” And so, never a man to abandon his beliefs, he now believes “The time is ripe for me to take on a new challenge, working on climate and sustainability with the private sector and academia.” Apparently, his concern for the planet now impels him to move on to a consultancy with the well-heeled accounting firm of KPMG. (Though not before putting in four more months pushing yet again — science? what’s science? – for yet another UN effort, scheduled for November in Mexico City, to try to clinch the global climate “regime” that eluded de Boer and his buddies in Copenhagen).
But before celebrating too much over the departure of de Boer, beware. For the climate commissars of the UN, many of their pals in the big business community, and a lot of national potentates, “climate change” has already become a gravy train of extraordinary dimensions. Al Gore alone has become a tycoon with a Nobel prize. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has made it a leading theme of his leadership at the UN. Climate guru Rajendra Pachauri is saying hell, no, he won’t go. Whatever this scene once had to do with “climate” or “science” or “environment” or ”earth,” it is by now largely about unaccountable and in many cases unelected figures amassing money and power. Good-bye and good riddance, one hopes, to Yvo de Boer. But this monster he helped create is not going to die without a long and grueling fight.

I wonder how many millions of dollars his bloated retirement package consists of. UN bereaucrats are famously liberal with the aid they provide to themselves.
Does anyone think that this fraudulent little drone of a man ever miss any meals?
I cannot wait for the American revolution.
Thank you, Ms. Rosett, for your reminder regarding the need for vigilance.
These climate fraudsters, and their political enablers, have finally figured out a way (quite literally) to tax everything that moves. They won’t give up easily.
The Liberal whores at AP completely ignore the FACT of the AGW hoaxes coming into play.

Yvo, buddy, let me tell you about working in private enterprise. In the first month, it’s a honeymoon as they help you find the bathroom. In the second month, they will rip you several new *ssh*l*s. You will be fired and in the dustbin of history in record time. It could not happen to a more deserving guy. The US should pull out of the UN and create an organization of states that are democratic and free.
How about having the UN experience some real warming by having it relocate to Dubai and having the US exit that corrupt organization.
Cya Yvo, don’t let the door hit you in the a$$ on your way out!
I was humored to see that his resignation had absolutely nothing to do with the exposure of climate fraud and UN incompetence. I found the ‘background’ spin he orchestrated, that it was due to the failure of copenhagen, rather unpersuasive.
Mr. De Boer: Good bye and good riddance.
Dr. Pachauri, you’re next.
Mexico City…November…UN Conference on Global Warming…
Anyone got the phone number of the Mayor, need to sell him some snowplows.
What’s the carbon footprint of melting tar and plucking chickens?
We’re gonna need a lot of each before this score is settled.
Thanks again Claudia;
Let me use a sinking ship/boat analogy. In order to sink decisively, a ship needs to be blown apart; with a direct hit from a large, powerful and effective piece of well aimed ordinance. With a less than stellar hit; everyone on the ship will grab a bucket and try to bail they’re hearts out to keep it afloat. Bailing every scrap of evidence that the ship is sinking…
As yet, I haven’t seen an effective hit. It’s a long time until November; the ship is still very much afloat:
1) It’s not the science or lack of it, that drives this particular ship.
2) It’s not unelected officials and useful idiots like Gore and de Boer that drive this either; they’re more like deck-scrubbers in training.
3) There is a Captain onboard that knows that there is enough fuel to sail the ship to any port he wishes to repair minor damage, Mexico as an example.
4) Meanwhile, the Patrons are sequestered in anonymity, free to continue full steam ahead with the real agenda.
5) All the patrons, the point men, and the useful idiots; know each other very well…wink…wink.
Thanks for the treasure of public information dissemination Claudia; please keep it up. I look frward to reading your next piece.

Yvo is that a name or a diease? Glad he is gone, and how do you pronounce Yvo?
Good, we don’t need any advice concerning the environment from the Dutch. They are a charter member, after all, of the ‘Wetland Destroyers’ Hall of Fame.
“A Man With A Briefcase Can Steal More Money Than Any Man With A Gun”…
Add a Ph.D. and you can steal bundles.
Tell me, how do we sue these thieves for all the money they’ve stolen?
Keep hammering away at these fraudsters!!!!
Great work!!!
