Gee, That’s a Tough One

November 11, 2009 - 7:22 pm - by Claudia Rosett

Obama must choose — Israel or Iran,” is the gist of the latest message from Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to today’s Jerusalem Post.

Ahmadinejad’s actual words, as quoted by Iranian state media, and translated into English in the Jerusalem Post, were: “The support of both Israel and Iran can’t go hand in hand… No change is made unless great choices are made.”

What’s interesting here is not that Ahmadinejad would be issuing swaggering ultimatums to Obama, but the assumption by Ahmadinejad that Obama would be open in any way giving to “support” to an Iran ruled by the likes of Ahmadinejad, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the rest of the messianic thugs who bestride what was once Persia — now officially a land of no homosexuals and no usury; and slightly less officially a land of terrorist training camps, prison torture, murdered dissidents, juvenile executions, an illicit nuclear bomb program and the origin of the Francop cargo vessel’s recently confiscated shipment of 500 tons of arms bound for the terrorists of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Surely it’s a joke even to suggest that any American president would support this gang. Or has Obama by now offered them so many rounds of “mutual respect” that Ahmadinejad thinks he really does have a blank check from the White House?

One way of reading the democrats’ take on the Ft. Hood shooting as being whatever-it-is certainly not a matter of a jihadist terrorist attack, is to note that this denial is always linked to the notion that that if the “jihadi” interpretation prevails, that will have meant that “the rightwingers were right.” And that simply cannot be.

IOW, the main enemies of the left in this country is not Islamist terrorism. Their main enemies are their domestic political opponents.

This position is tantamount to saying that they don’t care whether Islamists attacks the USA–the only thing that is important is that tne anti-Obama groups don’t prevail.

This position is tantamount of treason and sedition, and marks the Obama administration as the most treasonous since that of James Buchanan, under whose presidency southern members of his own cabinet worked in Washington in support of imminent secession and insurrection.

Amazingly, as in that case, so in this: whom the gods would destroy they first make mad–with every day that more comes out about the government’s inability to do anything but pass blame from one agency to another is another day closer to the point where the majority of the American electorate may demand not only the impeachment of Obama but the destruction of the democratic party. It was the party of treason in the 1860s, and it’s the party of treason today.

I suspect our boy in Iran is having a little fun at the Dhimmi in Chief’s expense. Since he knows the USA and all the world outside the Islamic Republic are controlled by the Jews, he must be certain their puppet will obey the Elders of Zion. He and his pals The guys are laughing it up when they can, since The Ayatollah once said there is no fun in Islam. Must be a loophole for mocking infidels.

Dictators, like little children, tend to hear what they want to hear. So, is there any real difference between
the hordes of deformed souls, zombies and other ilk, with their paws on the levers of power inside the Beltway,
as the hordes of deformed souls, zombies and other ilk, with their paws on the levers of power in Teheran?

I would say, no, in the spirit of “Ohi” day in Greece, which celebrates Greece saying “no” to Mussolini during the Second World War.

Well, at least Mahmoud shows a push for some clarity on the issue, although it’s been the case all along.
