How about another option? I’ve mentioned this before in these pages – create a new UN type entity that only permits true democracies as members? Iran and other similar govts would be denied membership. Hopefully the UN would eventually die from attrition as the US sees this League Of Democracies as a much better vehicle to promote its standards rather than the counterproductive UN.
