The leaders in Iran must be wetting themselves with laughter at an enemy that not only allows their president to safely visit its shores but also goes further and allows him a forum in which to spout his anti-western rubbish in front of a global audience.

Is it really any wonder they have never worried about facing the US and its allies down these past 30 years?
