Ah, the U.N humans rights council, populated with such paragons of civic virtue and free speech traditions as those Islamic Arab and Persian governments in the Middle East, often claiming Israel is a racist state or that there are no homosexuals in Iran. I wasn’t aware the Saudi national army had a don’t ask don’t tell gay policy regarding perceived gender orientations? The Syrians want gays in their military? The Turks want gender equality in their army? Does this U.N policy apply to non state actors and unlawful combatants, like the Muslim Brotherhood? Since gays and females are under represented in the U.S. Army, does this mean the war on terror is over until the don’t ask don’t tell policy is ended? Gee, minor point, but if the draft is ever reinstated and don’t ask don’t tell is ended, does that mean future American anti war progressives can no longer show up in drag for an induction physical to get out of the next immoral, illegal war?
