Some years ago, I went to Cuba as part of the Pan Am Games.

As we flew over Cuba, I couldn’t help but notice that all of the island was dark, so acute was the oil shortage post Soviet Union.

No doubt the UN lauds them for having an economy so bad they can’t consume much energy per capita.
