Back in the good old days, we used to support people who wanted to overthrow communist dictatorships; what happened?
If you read about Gen. Pao, he has been gathering money and promising to re-invade Laos since he set foot in the US. Also of note that he didn’t ask for US help or money to do it.
Another point; many do not know that there are STILL Hmong fighting in Laos. They are long past fighting for independence or freedom; they are fighting to survive. The communists are still hounding them, committing genocide, and using WMDs to kill them. Maybe Gen. Pao was just sending an “aid package” to his embattled countrymen.
