Alas, this is another one of those problems that is independent of education. It is a problem of values, and the UN and you (and I) are not on the same value page.

I’m so cynical that it’s crystal clear to me that they have learned — that they’re doing exactly what they intend to do. And my cynicism’s all your fault, Claudia . . . or at least mostly so .

What fun it would be if John Bolton were still our UN ambassador, and could act with a totally free hand. He could call for such a resolution. It’d fail, of course, but it’d sure give me pleasure to see him argue the case.
