This slippery slope began with Bush, when in the aftermath of 9/11 he declared “Islam is a religion of peace” and said we are in a war on terror. Imagine if FDR said after 12/7, “Shintoism is a religion of peace” and “we are now engaged in a War on Blitzkrieg and a War on Sneak Bombing Attacks”. Bush’s bow to cowardice or political correctness foreshadowed this strategic collapse in the struggle against Islamofascism, and paved the way for stealth and lawsuit jihads against those who show “Islamophobia”. Now those in power want to put their heads in the sand and pooh-pooh terrorism. Now we will call terror attacks “man-caused disasters” which lumps the 9/11 attacks with the I-35 bridge collapse. I guess we will respond to the next terror attack as if it were a bridge collapse, with an overseas contingency operation in which Obozo will send a you-tube video to the jihadists and a scholarship fund to their children.

Why not just call this war “Counteraction Against That Which Must Not Be Named”?
