I think the media and those really “smart” opinion writers have a problem with people (like Governor Palin) who speak like a normal person. It’s like a foreign language to them. They are so used to listening to claptrap from politicians, who answer a question by not answering it, that they have trouble with a normal person whose first inclination is to actually try and answer a question. A normal person who sees what’s happening to the country and doesn’t feel the need to whitewash it for the American people. We need what McCain said he had: straight talk. That’s Sarah Palin.
