That their state religion, the 18th century Wahhabi cult, is cousin-in-law to the Taliban and al-Qaeda? It is painfully obvious that the Saudis – the very worst of “allies” – use their fabulous wealth to bend American journalism to their will. Surely their 7 percent ownership of FoxNews is not unrelated to that network’s obsession with raising U.S. hostility towards Iran to the level of a “shooting war.” Witness CNN’s firing of Octavia Nasr, the correspondent who lamented the death of Shi’ite cleric on her Twitter account. Who hates the Shia as much as they hate Christians and Jews? The Saudis, that’s who!
