Thanks for sharing the well-done Fox 5 report; I’ve moved from NYC and don’t see the local news any more and I miss it. Here’s another tidbit that wasn’t reported:

Holders of G-4 visas do NOT pay U.S. taxes on their UN earnings. That’s true not only for Ms. Noray, but to every single UN employee who holds the G-4 visa.

The tax waiver is only for G-4′s. It does not apply for U.S. citizens, or to UN employees who hold a green card.

All career-UN employees stationed in NYC who are not U.S. citizens have a choice: G-4 or Green Card. Which choice would you suppose is more popular?
