One reason for so much anti-Americanism is because most in the world “know” the US is paying so much. And they feel it’s not right.

So … either their own country is a free rider, or else there’s something wrong with America — but this is an unspoken feeling.

The EU knows it is free riding on US defense … but feels its America’s fault.

When the US doesn’t make a big issue of, but it’s always at least a little issue, then it IS America’s fault. And the US should start leaving its big NATO bases, and letting Europe defend itself more, or not.
