What a gift it was that there was no reprisal for the raid. Syria did something smart. Nothing. And memories are short.

But will we one day ask why Israel didn't stop the flow of weapons into Gaza and up north? At least we can suspect that eyes are wide open.

Thank you Israel. And thank you Claudia for reminding the world that feckless & delusional diplomacy is dangerous, as is the loss of dignity the US has been exposed to bc/ of Condi's capitulation to North Korean, Iranian & Palestinian tyrants. In fact, instead of thanking Israel, Condi is back in Jerusalem for her 15th trip (more than the number of times Arafat visited the white house) to pressure Israel to chop-up its tiny state & eternal capital. As a zealot for the Palestinian Arab cause, Condi shows the world that it doesn't pay to be a US ally. Creating another terrorist state in the Middle East is certainly not in the US interest & contrary to the long abandoned Bush Doctrine...but, that's irrelevant to Condi who needs to wave an Abbas/Olmert "agreement" in our faces to save the Bush legacy at the peril of Israel's existential existence. Let's hope Israel can remain courageous under such capricious pressure & world ingratitude.
