I couldn’t help thinking this was the Worst. Week. Yet., staring once again at the slow-motion train wreck known officially as the Affordable Care Act implementation, or less charitably as the ♡bamaCare!!! Follies. So let us look back on the weary week that was, and then take a brief look ahead at the future of the law Officially So Settled It’s Inscribed in Solid Play-Doh.

So to steal a match from Johnny Carson, how bad was it? Well, you might recall a few months back DNC Chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz confidently predicting “that Democratic candidates will be able to run on ObamaCare as an advantage leading into the 2014 election” on Candy Crowley’s little-watched CNN Sunday show. You might also recall — and internet pundits get paid the big bucks to draw these parallels — a little IRS scandal which has been brewing for the last couple days few weeks many months. And what’s the Democratic response to said scandal? To screw up their courage and beg, “More?” It’s true, as The Hill reported:

Senate Democrats facing tough elections this year want the Internal Revenue Service to play a more aggressive role in regulating outside groups expected to spend millions of dollars on their races.

They might get away with it, too — but it won’t help put any daylight between themselves and the ♡bamaCare!!! Follies.

Um....I may be thick...but, if they can't tell us how they come by the numbers...what possible credibility in those numbers exists.

If 90% of the people 'SIGNED UP", whatever that loosely defined term means, get the thing subsidized...and 20% of the remaining 10% haven't paid...that means that 8% of the fuster cluck are "paying" to support the crumbling ruins, sinkhole, imbecile farm.

This craptastic program is a Broadway Musical of Howard the Duck. You can't tell enough lies, provide enough coverups, turn logic more on its head to salvage this stink bomb. Unemployment is free agency! Losing your insurance is a benefit! You can't go to your doctor or your hospital gives you more choices! Death is life, only different!

I'd call it an average week for Obamacare- worse than last week but better than next week.

To plagiarize and old Soviet Saying: They pretend that we're getting subsidized and better healthcare and we pretend to be enrolling and paying for it. Kill Obamacare before it kills the Health and Insurance Industries and us.

I know the disaster known as 0bamacare has to bottom out somewhere, eventually. But damn it sure seems like the whole plan has fallen into an abyss. Course if you ask a Liberal they'll draw pictures of unicorns and rainbows and tell you everything is just grand and if it isn't it's all Bush's fault anyway.

There is old sayink comrades. Figures don't lie but liars figure. In the Obama Administration it's: Liars figure and figures lie.

Out of the tree of health, I picked me a lemon
This came along and appeared to be run by Frank Drebin
After five years it's not a first, the worst... is yet to come

The worst is yet to come, and wont that be true
You think you've seen the depths, but you aint fully been screwed

Wait till the warm-up is underway
Wait till our the mandates fly
Wait till your funds for a rainy day
Dry up and say good bye
You aint seen nothin yet

The worst is yet to come, fears are yours and mine
The worst is yet to come, come the day the IRS wants your fine

Come the day that you die
Im gonna teach you to fly
Weve only tasted the wine
Were gonna drain that account dry

Wait till your charms are right, for the arms to surround
You think youve flown before, but you aint left the ground

Wait till you're locked in their embrace
Wait till they hold you near
Wait till you see that casket place
There aint nothin like it here

The worst is yet to come, and wont that be fine
The worst is yet to come, come the day that you owe you fine

I really don't care if it kills the insurance companies, since they were in on the scam and figuring to profit handsomely. Screw 'em.

If it were spring (does such a thing even exist?) you could blame the low enrollment on "people are outside, enjoying the weather" blah, blah, blah. But it's been cold with lots of snow. People are inside, with their computers, listening to stories about Obamacare. They have the time and nothing else to do but go through the website to enroll. But they aren't.

"A director with Colorado’s health-care exchange was placed on paid administrative leave Tuesday after it was discovered she has been accused of stealing from a nonprofit housing organization she oversaw in Montana."
Don't they know you're not supposed to do that?

"... the administration’s goal is to get 7 million enrolled by the end of March, or that EnrollMaven estimates that ♡bamaCare!!! has forced a bare minimum of 4.7 million off of their insurance — and that would bring the administration’s enrollment needs way up past 12 million…"

Now I could be wrong (there's a first time for everything) but I seem to recall that the whole initial selling point/excuse for this mess was to bring coverage to some 300K Low Income, under or unemployed with no health coverage. Just HOW is this catastrophe justified by that?
