But is it because Obama is a coward or is it because he does not care given his desire to destroy the Nation he has sworn to defend in furtherance of egalitarianism?”

US turns up pressure on Honduras coup government

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called interim President Roberto Micheletti to say there would be serious consequences if his government ignores international mediation for Zelaya’s return.

Honduran business leaders, meanwhile, say U.S. Ambassador Hugo Llorens has called them into meetings to warn that Honduras — impoverished and highly dependent on exports to the United States — could face tough sanctions if the interim government continues to refuse Arias’ compromise proposal for Zelaya to return as head of a coalition government.

The European Union added to the pressure on Monday by announcing it was suspending $93.1 million (65.5 million euros) in aid to Honduras.

The United Nations and Organization of American States have called for the return of Zelaya, who was arrested and hustled out of the country by the army on June 28.

But Micheletti vowed not to stand down — and implied that the United States is betraying one of its staunchest allies. Honduras allowed its territory to be used as a staging area for U.S.-backed Contra rebels in Nicaragua during the 1980s, and more recently it sent troops to Iraq. One learns in life that people who seem to be friends are not really friends.

Zelaya has aligned himself with leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Adolfo Facusse, the head of Honduras’ National Association of Industries, was defiant:
“We prefer sanctions to Zelaya’s return,” which he said would bring the “loss of liberty, dictatorship, communism.”

Obamacare for old folks: Just ‘cut your life short’
Health plan provision demands ‘end-of-life’ counseling

The version of President Obama’s universal health care plan pending in the U.S. House would require “end-of-life” counseling for senior citizens, and the former lieutenant governor for the state of New York is warning people to “protect their parents” from the measure.

At issue is section 1233 of the legislative proposal that deals with a government requirement for an “Advance Care Planning Consultation.”

Betsy McCaughey, the former New York state officer, told former president candidate Fred Thompson during an interview on his radio program the “consultation” is no more or less than an attempt to convince seniors to die.

“One of the most shocking things is page 425, where the Congress would make it mandatory absolutely that every five years people in Medicare have a required counseling session,” she said. “They will tell [them] how to end their life sooner.”

McCaughey also said the Obama administration is suggesting that medical care be withheld from seniors based on the expected years they have left to live.

But there is a certain freedom on the internet, and Israelis, for all of the circumscription of their freedoms, tend to ignore the thedakars of culture here, the Hebrew press. Only foreign correspondents take them seriously.

Don’t worry, they are inexhaustible at inventing restrictions on the people: since 1917. Bolshevik Revolution “control” is the essence of their existence.
