It is not likely that it will stop for some time. I have the wonderful treat of having a mother-in-law that is a rabid liberal. She and her sister are still complaining about everything Bush, Palin, McCain. Guess I’ll have to take solace that her daughter, and my wife of almost 21 years is a strong Reagan type conservative.
Wait until he starts soliciting funding for presidential library. I hope the taxpayers’ objections are strong enough to compel the soon to be worst president to spend his own money.
It shouldn’t cost him too much. After all, what would he showcase?• A couple of mountain bikes that he tested during the day while others in his administration actually worked? • A shelfful of books that he has claimed he read (as a dyslexic, did he take remedial reading?) I think not. • A copy of the most serious decisions credited to him but decided on by others (most notably his baby sitter, Cheney) • and so on.
In other words, an empty, meaningless library.
Why embarrass himself further?
At the time of his putting into office by the Supreme court, he was the darling of Republicians & Democrats who thought he was telling the truth about all he was planning on doing for the American people,as so many have the same attitude toward Hussein Obama today.. Time takes care of drunks and dingbats, fits “W” so well.
They’ll be harping on Bush for the entire Obama reign. They have to have someone to blame for the coming mistakes of The One. And history has proven that they never blame themselves for their mistakes.
They’ve elected an empty suit who collected $700 million dollars and uses it to buy a Clinton cabinet. Obama ran against the Clinton’s, beat the Clinton’s, then gives them the White House.
Truth really is stranger than fiction.
Oh, and by the way, I pledge to show him the same respect that the democrats have shown Bush for the past eight years.
As far as giving him the same respect, I wrote about that a few days ago on my blog as well. I figure if it works for the left, it will work for the right.. If they can call Bush “Hitler” I guess it’s ok for me to Hussein “Muslim Political Terrorist”, ya think?
I’m tired of hearing complaints about Bush bashing from the people who brought us Clinton bashing. Starting almost from day 1 in 1/1993 Bill Clinton’s enemies did everything they could to undermine his administration. When his party lost power in Congress on 1/1995 they ramped it even more with the endless harassment by Reps. Dan Burton, Gingrich, etc. (funny that the Republican House was so very quiet from 2001 to 2007. Where was your oversight of the outgoing admin when you had the majority?).
Then Bill Clinton had the gall and the unmitigated audacity to get re-elected in 1996 and that really infuriated the Right. They spent all of their political energy and capital on the investigations that culminated with the impeachment. Of course no American President before Bill Clinton had ever violated his marriage vows. And how much did this Starr & Co. circus cost the American people?
Sorry if you found the Bush bashing so irritating but we learned bashing from watching the experts who are so much more adept at the art of political attacks.
And since you will be in the political wilderness for some time to come will you now revert to your snarky form when it comes to Obama?
It is a bitter thing to be so divided in this country. To sit around and complain about what has happened only digs a deeper grave for the complainant. The only way to stop is to Stop .

Are you kidding?
And give the dhims nothing to talk about!
Surely you jest…

Yeah, we probably will do a bunch of 0bama bashing, at least 4 years worth. It won’t be too hard.
Bill Clinton got away with murder. 9-11 was his great crime.
I think both sides have suffered enough under each others presidents. It’s time for a change. Any other choice is a road to nowhere but bitterness.
